The hallmark feature of Neoclassical design is a porch supported by grand columns, often extending two stories. These symmetrical and proportional homes typically have a centered door, balanced windows, and matching winged porticos.
Other distinguishing features of the Neoclassical home plan include roof-line balustrades and broken pediments over doorways and windows. Decorative details adorn the entry and windows, as well as dentil molding below the cornice.
