Nostalgic Reflections

This Cape Cod Georgian recalls the Julia Wood House, built around 1790 in Falmouth, Mass. Such homes generally featured a balustraded roof deck or "widow's walk" where wives of captains looked to the sea for signs of returning ships. Our updated floor plan features four bedrooms, including a master suite, on the second floor, and a country kitchen, a study, a dining room and a living room on the first floor. The third floor makes a fine 15' x 10' studio, with a ladder leading to the widow's walk.
