The total deck area adds 945 square feet of outdoor living space. Both levels of this deck extend into the backyard. Stairway exits from level one and level two allow easy access to the ground from both the breakfast room and gathering room. Both rooms open onto the deck for open-air enjoyment of meals, entertaining and quiet times of relaxation. Because the gathering room is three steps down from surrounding rooms, the exit to the lower deck is made without stepping down. ~~An overhead trellis or covered area provides a feeling of privacy and shade, making the deck's sitting area comfortable even during warm periods of the year.
